Project Overview

Visual identity for the “Serp i Molot” art space, developed as part of a restoration concept.

Task: to create a visual system that unites different functions of the space into a single image — art, theater, music, and public areas.

The concept is based on an associative approach and form exploration inspired by principles of abstract art.

Design Process

The starting point was the idea of combining the space’s functions into a single mark. I used simple geometric shapes and an associative approach, inspired by principles of abstract art. These elements are combined into a single composition, forming a cohesive mark that works as a system and can scale across different applications.

Geometry and meaning:

triangle — theater (masks)

rectangle — music (piano)

circle — restaurant (table)

square — art (painting)

Process visuals:

Reference search
Variation search
Logic and association search

Develop

The identity is designed as a flexible system adaptable across various formats: posters, presentations, and exhibition materials.

The visual language remains consistent when scaled and adapted.

Ready for use in project communications and further development.

Result: A unified logo was created to bring together the different functions of the space. A distinctive graphic language was developed, along with a system for presentation materials. The visual style is scalable and adaptable across various formats.
